Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage database security, user access, and permissions.
• Optimize database queries and indexing for better performance.
• Ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance with company policies.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
• Work with developers to design and optimize database structures.
• Prepare database documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SQL and database administration.
• Experience with backup/recovery and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
