A well-established player in the cybersecurity solutions and managed services space (located in the East) is looking to bring on a senior consultant who's equally comfortable in a whiteboard architecture session and in front of a client explaining why it matters. You'll sit at the intersection of technical advisory and business development — shaping how security gets designed, sold, and delivered.
What You'll Be Doing
Advisory & Architecture
- Scope and design security solutions for clients, benchmarked against NIST CSF and recognised industry standards
- Run assessments across client environments — networks, infrastructure, apps — to surface gaps, misconfigurations, and maturity shortfalls
- Shape security requirements early, sitting in on design and change reviews so security isn't bolted on after the fact
- Run threat modeling sessions and technical workshops with client teams
- Own proof-of-concept builds that demonstrate solution fit
Client & Revenue Support
- Work hand-in-hand with the sales team as the technical voice in deals — you're often the reason a deal closes or stalls
- Present to both engineers and executives; adapt the story for the room
- Own RFP/RFI responses end-to-end
- Be a trusted point of contact for client security questions, compliance concerns, and best-practice guidance
- Keep a library of sharp, current sales materials — briefs, diagrams, case examples
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal product/engineering/delivery teams so what's promised can actually be built
- Translate between sales and technical delivery to keep projects on track
- Guide and develop junior team members
- Represent the company in front of auditors and regulators during reviews
- Jump into incident response or threat hunting work when the team needs it
What You Bring
- 5+ years in an information security function
- A relevant degree (IT, Cybersecurity, or similar)
- You can hold a room — strong at explaining technical risk to non-technical stakeholders
- Solid working knowledge across several of: IAM/PAM, SIEM/SOAR, SOC operations, DLP, attack surface management, application and network security
- Comfortable with vulnerability management tooling and security automation concepts
- Bonus: DFIR / investigative experience
- Bonus: CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001, or equivalent certification
