What this job involves:

As the IoT Operations Manager for South Asia, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming building infrastructure across the region. Reporting to the Regional IoT Operations Lead, APAC, you'll spearhead the deployment and operation of cutting-edge building management systems while ensuring they remain cyber-secure and deliver tangible value to site teams. This position offers the unique opportunity to bridge technology and operations, driving JLL's Digital Building program across multiple sites while maintaining the highest standards of system performance and security compliance. You'll be the technical authority for IoT initiatives, working at the intersection of innovation and operational excellence to modernize legacy systems and empower teams across South Asia.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead the deployment of the client's Digital Building program across South Asia sites, transforming legacy non-connected infrastructure into cyber-secure, next-generation systems
• Manage and coordinate with business partners and vendors to deliver BMS initiatives, enforcing consistent standards across the region
• Oversee security exceptions and risk management, developing and executing mitigation plans to minimize operational impact
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and first point of contact for all IoT-related technical support and troubleshooting
• Maintain and audit all system documentation, including updates to the client's Location Based Asset Management System and organizational CMMS
• Deliver training sessions and refresher courses to site teams on Digital Building Standards and compliance policies
• Provide regular performance reports and strategic updates to the Regional IoT Operations Lead and Regional Technical Services Lead
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) in either Project delivery or Operations & Maintenance capacity
• Demonstrated expertise in network infrastructure and communication protocols
• Strong project management capabilities with proven track record of delivering technical projects on schedule
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles as applied to building systems and IoT infrastructure
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate across regional teams and external vendors
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical proficiency with Niagara, ALC, or Schneider building automation systems
• Previous experience working with regional or multi-site teams in APAC
• Familiarity with Location Based Asset Management Systems and CMMS platforms
• Training or instructional design experience for technical subject matter
• Knowledge of industry compliance standards and digital building frameworks
