Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for Data Engineers to support large-scale Oil & Gas data management initiatives. You will be responsible for data processing, validation, migration, and quality assurance of upstream engineering data while working closely with domain experts and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, validate, and manage engineering and business data.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
- Perform data cleansing, quality checks, and data validation.
- Support data migration and system integration activities.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and data quality metrics.
- Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to resolve data-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with client data governance and quality standards.
Requirements
Junior Data Engineer (3Pax)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of Well Engineering Data and Business Data Handling.
- At least 1 year of experience with data applications, databases, or enterprise systems.
Senior Data Engineer (3Pax)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong experience in Well Engineering Data and Business Data Handling.
- At least 1 year of experience with data applications, databases, or enterprise systems.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical discussions.
Preferred Skilss
- SQL and relational databases
- ETL and data integration
- Data quality and governance
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Python or scripting is an advantage
- Experience with cloud data platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
