Responsibilities

Lab Engineer


Key Responsibilities


* Conduct testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products according to established procedures.

* Analyze test results and prepare accurate laboratory reports to support production and process improvement.

* Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of laboratory data and testing records.

* Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

* Maintain proper laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

* Support production, quality, and R&D activities by performing laboratory analysis and other assigned tasks.


Requirements


* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.

* Strong proficiency in Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

* Good analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

* Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to maintaining high laboratory standards.

* Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.


Junior Lab Engineer (Fresh Graduates Welcome)


Fresh graduates who are passionate about laboratory testing and quality assurance are encouraged to apply.

* Understand basic laboratory testing procedures and quality control principles.

* Operate laboratory equipment with guidance and follow standard testing procedures.

* Accurately record, analyze, and report test results.

* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.


Senior Lab Engineer


Candidates with 3+ years of relevant laboratory or manufacturing experience may be considered for a Senior Lab Engineer position.


* Manage daily laboratory operations and testing activities.

* Develop, validate, and optimize testing methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.

* Investigate product quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

* Lead laboratory improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

* Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to support process improvement and new product development.


Working Hours

  • Mon – Fri: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
  • Alternate Saturday: 08:00 AM – 02:00 PM
