About the role

As a Shipping and Logistics Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the company's import and export operations. This full-time position, based in Balakong / Kota Puteri, Selangor will involve overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinate the shipping and transportation of goods, both domestically and internationally

2. Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to ensure seamless clearance and delivery

3. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all shipments

4. Identify and implement process improvements to optimise the logistics function

5. Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to provide efficient logistics solutions

6. Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on the status of shipments

7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing import and export activities

8. Preparing the cost analysis and Certificate of Origin for submission

9. Must have experience in solving problem in shipment management.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within the import/export or customs industry

2. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders

4. Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools

5. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

6. Familiarity with the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry

7. Prefer Mandarin Speaking to liaise with stakeholders in China
