Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess at least a degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent fields.
 

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, and knowledge of other languages is highly encouraged. 

Prior working experience in a related field is required, but training will be provided for fresh candidates.

Documentation Executive:
Skills Required:

  • Understanding of INCOTERMS and familiarity with import and export documentation.

  • Ability to effectively liaise with shipping companies, agents, and factories related to products.

  • Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

Job Description

  • Preparation of import and export documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Proficiency in handling Letter of Credit (LC) transactions.

  • Coordination and liaison with banks, shipping lines, freight forwarders, surveyors, and related agencies in the import and export field.

  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to prepare Bills of Lading (BLs) and other necessary documents.

  • Ensuring proper organization and maintenance of all trade documents.

  • Handling all matters related to the issuance and receipt of LC and non-LC documents.

Shipping Officer
Skills Required:
  • Good knowledge of import and export shipping procedures.

  • Understanding of INCOTERMS and international trade practices.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, transporters, suppliers, and customers.

  • Strong planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet shipping deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Job Description:
  • Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments from cargo readiness until cargo delivery.

  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, suppliers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.

  • Arrange vessel bookings, trucking, packing, transportation, customs clearance, and shipment schedules.

  • Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and internal departments.

  • Coordinate with the Documentation team to ensure all shipping documents are prepared accurately and submitted on time.

  • Handle shipment-related issues, delays, roll-overs, and provide effective solutions.

  • Verify freight charges, shipping invoices, and other related costs.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, shipping regulations, and customer requirements.

  • Maintain proper records of shipment activities and documentation.
