Carleton ES Hiring! Full Time Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) in Selangor - Ricebowl

Summary

1)    The candidate is responsible for leading a team which consists of engineers, supervisors, electricians, helpers. And lead this team to take care all electrical equipment in Meltshop, CCM and rolling mill.

2)    Candidate shall have at least 5 years maintenance experience in heavy industry such as preferable in Steel plant, Cements plant, Aluminium plant…or any other heavy industry also can apply for this position.

4)    Candidate is familiar with HT(132KV,33KV,11KV) equipments such as switch gears, transformers, protection relays will be most added advantage

5)    Candidate shall have other electrical knowledge to handle this position well such as can read electrical drawing, Siemens PLC, Siemens DC Drives, inverters, WINCC , control system, electrical drawing, electrical power distribution design, motors, ….

6)    Candidate shall have experience in ISO documentation handling at least ISO9001, ISO45001

7)    Candidate shall have Diploma, or Degree in electrical engineering or BO chargeman above.

Responsibilities:

1)    To plan/coordinate Preventive Maintenance for all electrical machineries in steel making plant: including induction furnace, ladle furnace, continuous casting machine, and rolling mill.

2)    To analyse/attend electrical breakdown, plan and execute for corrective/preventive action for the breakdown to prevent the reoccurrence

3)    To study, design and execute any improvement activities/ project assigned by electrical head or ideas from others

4)    To make recommendation on the possibility of machineries and equipment improvement and upgrading in order to prevent production downtime

5)    To ensure to achieve targeted KPI such as downtime and cost control of every project/spare parts.

6)    To Promote quality and safety awareness and responsibilities among members of the department.

7)    To Ensure that the Company Quality System Procedures, Work Instruction, documentation are well updated and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO50001

8)    To Ensure electrical spare parts inventory, availability of critical spare parts for whole electrical department

9)    To plan for manpower duty roster and ensure manpower adequacy for running shift or manpower having emergency leave
