We are looking for a Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance across our operations. This role is key in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment while supporting ISO certifications and operational excellence.

What You'll be Doing?

1. Safety Management & Compliance

   • Implement and maintain safety rules, conduct briefings, toolbox talks, safety drills, and inspections.

   • Ensure adherence to government regulations (DOSH, DOE, Bomba) and company safety policies.

2. Risk Assessment & Permit Control

   • Prepare and update Risk Assessments (RA), Work-at-Height, Heavy Lifting assessments, and issue Permit-to-Work (PTW).

   • Approve third-party risk assessments and ensure proper certification before work commencement.

3. EHS Documentation & Reporting

   • Prepare incident/accident reports, technical documentation, work instructions, and safety alerts.

   • Maintain accurate records of safety equipment, PPE stock, and monthly audits.

4. Licensing & Regulatory Coordination

   • Handle all chemical, logistics, and DG transportation license applications.

   • Liaise with regulators, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance.

5. Equipment & Resource Management

   • Coordinate maintenance, testing, and procurement of safety equipment.

   • Monitor and maintain security systems (CCTV, alarms) to ensure operational effectiveness.

6. Continuous Improvement & Training

   • Identify and organize safety courses for staff.

   • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• Possess Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science or related field providing strong foundation for understanding safety regulations and principles.

• Possess own transport.

• Able to communicate well with people at different levels in the organization

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the Company Policy and Procedures
