The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a group of manufacturing specialists and operators in the shift to ensure 100% HC turn up rate to support the operation activities.
  • Ensure the daily WIP Turn Ratio (WTR) are being achieved with the MOVES target achievement set by line steering at wafer fab bottleneck tools/ processes.
  • Involvement in any misprocess or handling issue incidents investigation related to human handling.
  • Handle other assigned task such as direct material handling for production and engineering usage.
  • Liaise with Production Control on capacity and loading issues to achieve optimum capacity utilization.
  • Initiate and manage productivity improvement project.
  • Manage people and recognize the good behavior / practice to encourage the good manufacturing practice


What we look for


  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Candidate with Master's Degree will have an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production management.
  • Able to manage day‑to‑day fabrication activities to ensure safe, stable, and predictable production by monitoring WIP, tool performance, and resolving operational issues.
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams (process & equipment engineering, production) and work effectively in cross-cultural multi-national working environment & organization.
  • Experienced in Front-end wafer fabrication operation management/process/manufacturing.
  • Skilled in Lean Manufacturing Principle, 8D problem solving, TWI,Crtical thinking, SQL and excel macro programming.
  • Willing to work on shift (7pm -7am & 7am-7pm)
