MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Warehouse & Hub Operations
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods at the central warehouse/hub.
- Manage overall inventory accuracy through regular stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling standards are maintained across the warehouse.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and organisation standards in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Shipment & Distribution Coordination
- Plan and coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers/vendors and outbound distribution to subsidiary companies.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and logistics providers to arrange timely delivery.
- Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or bottlenecks.
- Allocate and prioritise inventory distribution based on subsidiary demand and business needs.
Systems & Documentation
- Maintain and update warehouse management systems (WMS) / ERP systems to ensure accurate stock and shipment records.
- Prepare and manage documentation including delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, and customs/import-export paperwork where applicable.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, shipment status, and QC findings for management review.
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
- Work closely with subsidiary companies to understand their supply and demand requirements, aligning central hub operations accordingly.
- Support the Director in developing and implementing supply chain policies, SOPs, and process improvements across the group.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen inventory control across the network.
- Supervise or guide warehouse staff (e.g. Warehouse Executives/Assistants) to ensure alignment between daily hub operations and broader distribution plans.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or operational issues to the Director with recommended corrective actions.
- Track key metrics (e.g. inventory accuracy, on-time delivery rate, order fulfilment rate) and provide regular updates.
- Participate in audits and reviews to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
**May be required to travel to and work at the Singapore warehouse on an occasional basis to support operational requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics operations, ideally within a group/multi-entity structure.
- Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage both hands-on warehouse tasks and strategic coordination responsibilities.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with subsidiaries, vendors, and management.
