F&B TRAINER
A trainer will travel to existing outlets to train employees. Part of this role involves developing supplemental training or informational materials, including employee handbooks or instructional handouts. Since you will be tasked with upholding quality standards across multiple locations, we expect all applicants to have experience in guest services and restaurant management.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in design, develop, and deliver training programs by assessing employee training needs and develop training plans to meet those needs.
- Identifying training opportunities within outlets of responsibility and devising recommendations to improve operational performance and business results through training.
- Coordinating and delivering in-house training programs for operation, including product (seasonal launch and product specific), induction, company profile, customer service, selling techniques, operational and KPI specific training.
- In collaboration with all departmental & Operation Management map out training plans for individual employees.
- Facilitating learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom training and one on one coaching, including hands-on exercises, lectures, and multimedia presentations, to deliver training content.
- Tracking and reporting training outcomes (ie satisfaction ratings, attendance, increase of sales, KPI results etc).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement based on outlet visitation.
- Conduct monthly skill matrix assessment for employee promotion exercise and maintain accurate records of employee training, including attendance and test scores.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and development and collaborate with Operation Managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs.
- Ensure that training programs are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist Operation Managers in recognizing and delivering essential training to enhance knowledge and skills within the outlets.
- Possess full and accurate knowledge about all F&B outlets operations, food and beverages menus, product and service promotions and special events.
- Management of training administration (ie maintaining training records, training material etc).
Requirements and Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma Human Resources, Organization Development and others related would be an added advantage.
- Certified Food Handler Trainer (additional advantages)
- Experience as a Supervisor/ Manager in F&B industry will be an added advantage
- Possess own transport
- Proven ability to master the full training cycle
- Adequate knowledge of learning management software
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
