Responsibilities and Authorities
Project/ Work Execution
- To monitor, control and ensure total compliance of all safety, health and environmental, legal and corporate requirements of the company.
- To anticipate, prevent and eliminate all unsafe conditions and practices on the site that could lead to occupational injuries and illness.
- Work very closely with all department heads to provide input related to every major safety, health and environmental matters.
- To ensure the site is in full compliance to local authorities’ requirements and provide training as necessary. Towards zero accidents/ injuries – by periodic checks on all site procedures per requirements ensuring total adherence.
- To be actively involved in risk/hazard assessment on the site in the spirit of continual improvement.
- Dealing with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA and local authority to ensure good working relationship is maintained.
- To comply with all safety rules, safety working practices and procedures.
- To continue with weekly environmental checks around the factory/worksite to ensure the company complies with the SHE plan, procedures and statutory regulations.
- To ensure the security at worksite.
- To ensure the worksite is free from illegal activities.
- To provide induction for new employees briefed on the Company’s Safety Rules and Regulations.
Supplier and Contractor Relationship Management:
- Inspect supplier and contractor Safety, Health & Environment
- Feedback any Safety, Health & Environment policies nonconformance/ issue identified to SHO.
Quality Management System:
- Implement company Safety, Health & Environment policies and departmental standard operating procedures.
- Implement improvement in Safety, Health & Environment area.
- Support other internal customers in operations to ensure products and services meet customer and other interested parties’ requirements.
- Ensure proper document and record keeping in Project department.
Requirements
Education
- Registered as Site Safety Supervisor with DOSH.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.
- Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia and able to interact with all level of staff / sub-contractors.
Skill
- Supervisory skill.

- Basic understanding of renovation procedures and materials.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
