Our client is looking for a Mobile Engineer (React Native) based in Johor Bahru.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deliver features across the React Native codebase for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Manage App Store and Google Play Store releases on developer accounts, including performance optimization for the home-buyer journey.
• Build and maintain native modules where React Native is insufficient, utilizing Swift and Kotlin as required.
• Collaborate with the Backend Engineer on API contracts and with DevOps on release pipelines, crash analytics, and product analytics events.
• Utilize AI-augmented engineering tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent) as the default development workflow.
• Develop reusable mobile components for deployment across future engagements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mobile Application Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering React Native applications to public App Store and Google Play Store, including leading at least one application from greenfield (or major rebuild) through launch and steady-state operation.
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android native fundamentals, with the ability to develop using Swift and Kotlin where React Native is insufficient.
• Experience managing the App Store and Google Play Store release process, including code signing, store review, staged rollout, and rollback.
• AI-native engineering mindset with experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent as part of the daily development workflow.
• Strong testing, accessibility, and mobile application performance optimization skills.
• Experience with offline-first synchronization, push notifications, deep linking, and authentication flows will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp booking integrations, in-app payments, and loyalty or wallet features will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to high-volume consumer-app backends in property, fintech, or community/loyalty domains.

Pay: RM14,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
