Job Summary:

The Lean Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies across the organization. This role plays a key part in identifying and eliminating waste, improving process efficiency, and enhancing overall productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Lean projects (e.g., Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, TPM).
• Analyze manufacturing and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop standard work procedures and implement best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to instill a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide Lean tools training (e.g., Kanban, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis).
• Track project metrics and deliver cost savings, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Lean activities.
• Support implementation of digital tools or systems that align with Lean principles.
• Assist in the development and deployment of Lean strategies company-wide.
• Engage with floor operators and supervisors to promote and sustain Lean initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
