Role Description

The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for managing and growing Boom Media’s and clients’ social media presence across key platforms. This role involves planning and executing social media strategies, creating and scheduling posts, optimizing content performance, and engaging with online communities to build brand awareness and loyalty. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with the production and creative teams to translate vertical video assets into effective campaigns, track analytics, and make data-informed recommendations to improve reach and engagement. Daily tasks include monitoring trends, coordinating content calendars, managing platform-specific best practices, and preparing performance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with experience managing brand accounts and campaigns across major platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills, including the ability to craft clear, engaging copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
  • Experience in Content Strategy, including planning editorial calendars, aligning content with business objectives, and leveraging insights to refine approach.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and performance metrics, with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with creative, production, and client-facing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices for vertical video and short-form content.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a digital agency or media environment, particularly in video-centric social media campaigns, is an advantage.
