Job Description

Responsibilities

Watchmen is a cybersecurity group, active in Cloud & Network Security and specialized in Zero Trust technology. Headquartered in Singapore, the group operates established businesses in the Netherlands and Belgium, and is building out the DACH region as well as its Asia-Pacific base. We are a lean, fast-moving company where you will work directly with the CEO and have real ownership of your work.

The role:

We are looking for our first in-house Finance Executive in Singapore to run day-to-day group financial administration and become the central coordination point between our Singapore operations, our external accountants in Europe, and our Singapore tax & accounting advisors (BDO).

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being the go-to finance person in a small, international company, owning the books, keeping things accurate and on time, and steadily building the finance function as the group grows.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date books for the two Singapore entities in Xero (working alongside / reviewing our outsourced accountant's work).

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and keep ledgers clean and audit-ready.

• Process supplier invoices and staff expense claims; prepare payment runs for CEO approval.

• Issue customer invoices, monitor receivables and follow up on collections across the group.

• Coordinate Singapore payroll with our payroll provider/BDO; ensure CPF, SDL, IR8A and statutory items are handled correctly and on time.

• Gather and pass on payroll inputs for the Netherlands and Belgium entities to the local providers.

• Act as the central contact with our Singapore advisors (BDO) and our Netherlands and Belgium accountants, gathering and supplying information for statutory filings (corporate tax, GST / BTW / VAT, annual accounts).

• Help ensure timely Singapore GST and corporate-tax filings, and support data requests for NL/BE filings.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and cash-flow tracking; assist with simple multi-entity consolidation, budgeting and forecasting.

• Support ad-hoc finance projects for the CEO and advisors (e.g. investor reporting, group restructuring data requests).

• Keep orderly financial records, support audits, and uphold internal controls (segregation of duties, approval workflows). Handle all financial information with strict confidentiality.

What you'll bring:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/Finance, or ACCA (part-qualified acceptable) / equivalent.

• ~1–4 years' experience in a finance/accounting role (bookkeeping, AP/AR, partial- or full-set accounts).

• Hands-on experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting (e.g. QuickBooks).

• Working knowledge of Singapore statutory basics - GST, CPF, IRAS filing concepts.

• Strong Excel skills, high accuracy and attention to detail, and discretion with confidential data.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Eligible to work in Singapore without employer sponsorship.

• A genuine desire to persuasively learn

What we offer:

• S$2,800–S$5,000 per month, depending on experience

• Annual Wage Supplement (13th month)

• Corporate health insurance plan via Raffles Medical

• Flexible/hybrid working arrangement, with the option to use a co-working space

• A dynamic work environment

• A broad, high-visibility role reporting directly to the CEO, with the chance to build and own the in-house finance function.

• Exposure to an international group spanning Singapore, the Netherlands and Belgium.

• Annual leave

• Central Provident Fund (CPF)
