The Principal Security Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To lead and manage CPS team (VAPT, Sourececode review, red team , and etc )
• Responsible for CPS team’s day to day operation including hiring, training and assessing staff
• Resource management for CPS includes but is not limited to the following: -
o Planning and Assignment of headcount for new CPS projects
o Planning of headcount for new and existing CPS projects at planned intervals.
o Resolve issues encountered by the CPS team members and escalate to Management if required.
o Maintain team spirit and motivate team morale.
• Pre-sales and post-sales activities on CPS include but are not limited to supporting solution implementation, servicing and provide advisory to customers.
• Subject matter expert for CPS clients
• Develop, maintain, and update processes to strengthen the current CPS include but are not limited to operations manuals, policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, and reporting
• To work closely with other teams for CPS projects and operations
• Creation of periodic reports for CPS to the Management
• To ensure proper client management and reporting for CPS clients.
• Part of security analysis to monitor and investigate the incident event.
• To comply with the Information Security Policy in the organization.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in marketing activity from the commercial team
• To work with other Head of Departments for CPS client’s improvement and support.
REQUIREMENTS
• Possess at least at Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant field.
• At least 7 Years of experience in IT Security, Information Security and/or Cybersecurity.
• Understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architectures.
•Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly beneficial
• Preferable has undergone cybersecurity trainee in a consulting company and has experience in performing cybersecurity assessment, threat assessment, or penetration testing.
• Technical skills with an interest in one or more of the following: adversary emulation, vulnerability discovery, reverse-engineering, emerging technology.
• Client service-oriented and accustomed to taking proactive approach.
• Excellent command of verbal and written in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
