Job Summary

You will manage client trading limits, monitor trading exposure, enforce payment policies, and prepare management reports to support risk control and operational efficiency in a dynamic financial services environment.


Responsibilities

  • Recommend and review trading limits for clients and Trading Representatives to manage risk exposure effectively
  • Monitor trading exposure of retail and institutional clients and Trading Representatives to ensure compliance with risk parameters
  • Follow up with Trading Representatives on margin calls to maintain account integrity and reduce credit risk
  • Manage overdue purchases by enforcing force-selling and late payment policies to minimize financial losses
  • Collect contra losses and margin deficits, liaising with external counsel to support legal proceedings when necessary
  • Prepare routine management reports and monthly reports for Committee meetings to inform decision-making
  • Assist in projects and perform administrative duties as assigned by management to support operational goals
  • Provide rotational coverage during Public Holidays to ensure continuous business operations


Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external parties
  • Analytical skills to interpret and work with financial data for accurate reporting and decision support
  • Experience working with sensitive financial information to maintain confidentiality and compliance
  • Team player attitude to collaborate and support colleagues in achieving business objectives
  • Relevant industry experience of 2 years or more is advantageous but not mandatory
