Job Summary

The Technician (Facilities / Project / Factory) is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance, repair, and operational functionality of company facilities, project sites, and factory premises. The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting renovation and construction activities, maintaining factory equipment and infrastructure, and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

A. Facilities Maintenance (Outlets & HQ)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all restaurant outlets and Headquarters.
• Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, lighting, air-conditioning, ceilings, flooring, doors, and building fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from outlets and HQ departments.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance work.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and service schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.

B. Project Support (Renovation & New Outlet Development)

• Assist in renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out works for new and existing outlets.
• Support project execution according to approved timelines and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Perform site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company specifications and quality standards.
• Verify project completion before outlet handover.
• Ensure project sites comply with workplace safety requirements.

C. Factory Maintenance

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for factory facilities, including:
• Warehouse
• Cold Room
• Production Area
• Office Facilities
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues affecting factory operations.
• Ensure machinery and facility equipment remain operational with minimal downtime.
• Support scheduled servicing and maintenance of factory equipment.
• Maintain utilities such as electrical systems, water supply, air compressors, and refrigeration systems.
• Monitor building conditions and recommend improvement initiatives.

General Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance issues proactively.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Prepare maintenance reports and update service records.
• Support emergency maintenance activities when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Building Maintenance
• Facilities Management
• Civil Engineering
• HVAC
• Mechatronics
• or equivalent qualifications.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in:
• Building Maintenance
• Facilities Management
• Construction
• Renovation
• Factory Maintenance
• Food & Beverage industry (preferred)

Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
