Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT PMO professional to support the governance, planning, execution, and reporting of technology projects within the banking environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, Business Analysts, Technology Teams, Vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the governance and delivery of IT projects and programmes across the banking organization.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, PMO standards, and SDLC methodologies.
- Consolidate project status reports and prepare dashboards for senior management and steering committees.
- Track project financials, resource utilization, budgets, and forecasts.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee meetings, and project review sessions.
- Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Coordinate project documentation, approvals, and stage-gate deliverables.
- Monitor project compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, regulatory standards, and risk management guidelines.
- Support project managers with resource planning, scheduling, and workload tracking.
- Coordinate with vendors, third-party service providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Assist in change request management and project scope control.
- Ensure accurate documentation is maintained in project repositories such as SharePoint, Jira, or Confluence.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment planning, and project closure activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in an IT PMO, Project Coordinator, Project Analyst, or IT Project Management role.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT projects within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery.
- Experience in project governance, reporting, budgeting, and project controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: RM4,449.11 - RM10,428.40 per month
