Preventive Maintenance Programme

• Ensure implementation and enforcement of optimal operating environment for equipment in the Plant is defined and fine tuned to prevent any premature failures.
• Develop and manage the implementation of preventive maintenance programme towards achieving zero unscheduled down time in operations.
• Design preventive maintenance programme that optimises the parts lifespan and drives toward cost effectiveness.
• Review and refine the preventive maintenance programme to determine the effectiveness, to make changes where required to optimise.
• Oversee and determine the process effectiveness of tracking equipment service records and movement in the plant

Plant Engineering

• Analyse and determine frequently problematics areas for root cause, in order to implement long term sustainable solution.
• Refine and standardise the recommended engineering solution (e.g. lifespan, operating environment, service requirement) throughout the entire Plant
• Implement validation methods to ensure equipment deployed are configured optimally to control consumption of utilities and consumption.

Plant Maintenance

• Analyse the quality and effectiveness of the preventive maintenance carried out by the team. Identify problematic areas and enhance.
• Collaborate with Production to identify trend of unscheduled down time and drive towards long term solution.

Plant Facilities and Utilities

• Review and manage the maintenance and repairs performed on production key critical areas such as Boiler, Cooling Tower, Thermal Oil Heater, and Compressed Air system.
• Implement the recommended WWT maintenance programme and monitor the effectiveness to fine tune where required.

Material and Spare Parts for Maintenance

• Review and manage the effectiveness of controls implemented to perform material balancing used on spare parts consumed by the department.
• Share the plan for spare parts requirement and feedback to Management to fine the Min / Max to avoid any adhoc purchasing and no spare parts outage.

Others

• Any other task and/or assigned duties as required by the management

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 6 years of working experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting methodologies

Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.

Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation is an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
