- Documenting manufacturing requirements and processes, including technical drawings and CAD models.
- Responsible for design and fabrication of mould and tools.
- Develop manufacturing processes and liaise with Purchasing department to ensure feasibility in supply chain in order to make adjustment where necessary.
- Determine development and production costs, and optimize designs to achieve the most cost-efficient means of production.
- Conduct test runs with completed tools and mould.
- Evaluate the final product based on manufacturing and project requirements or market needs.
- Implement feedbacks and making revisions.
- Assist to manage and lead ad hoc engineering projects, including customized tests and experiments.
- Assist to oversee and lead research for findings on fields related to KMK’s existing and potential product base, and proactively contribute to reference materials maintained by engineering team(s).
- To co-operate with his employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty or requirement imposed on the employer or that other person.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, required for English and Bahasa.
- Strong engineering knowledge preferred, specifically with reference to material, manufacturing method, hydraulic, machineries and so on.
- Working knowledge in CAD software required.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and expend necessary efforts to complete duties.
- Qualifications in related fields preferred (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering).
