Responsibilities
- Conduct land feasibility studies to assess project viability, including cost analysis and development potential.
- Participate in tendering for new projects, including preparation of tender documents such as Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimations.
- Evaluate tenders submitted by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained from project inception through to completion.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions during both design and construction stages.
- Provide professional advice on cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and meeting overall project objectives.
- Carry out any other duties or assignments as required by immediate superior or management.
- Strong experience in tendering, with proven involvement in successful project tenders.
- Mandarin-speaking is required due to stakeholder and supplier communication.
- Experience handling large-scale projects; exposure to tenders valued above RM300 million will be an added advantage.
- Background in property developer is preferred; candidates from consultancy or main contractor are also welcome.
- Open to candidates with project experience in infrastructure, commercial, residential, or high-rise developments.
- Passionate, driven to tender and pre-contract.
