AMK Technology Hiring! Full Time Network Build Engineer (5- years) in Selangor - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure projects.
• Prepare Low-Level Design (LLD), deployment plans, and implementation documentation.
• Perform hands-on configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and migration of network infrastructure.
• Support LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxy, WAF, and IPS technologies.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to ensure secure and reliable network services.
• Support cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Provide technical support during deployments and Tier 3 escalations.
• Identify opportunities for network optimization, automation, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Engineering/Network Build.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring enterprise networking equipment.
• Expertise in Layer 3 technologies, including:
• IPv4
• BGP
• OSPF
• EIGRP
• PIM
• HSRP
• DMVPN
• NHRP
• GETVPN
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, including:
• VLAN
• Spanning Tree
• QinQ
• 802.1Q (Dot1Q)
• Experience with:
• Cisco networking technologies
• Fortinet & Check Point Firewalls
• SD-WAN, VPN, LAN/WAN
• Routers & Switches
• Load Balancers (F5/Citrix)
• Proxy, WAF & IPS
• Good understanding of Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Python and/or Ansible for network automation is preferred.
• CCNP certification or equivalent skillset is preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
