Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist with daily finance operations and play a key role in our transition from an in-house finance system to a new ERP system.
This opportunity is ideal for students, mid-career individuals seeking a career transition, and mature workers looking to gain or refresh finance experience. High-performing candidates may be considered for a permanent full-time position upon completion of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
Perform data entry, filing, document preparation, and record maintenance.
Assist with bank reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Support the migration of financial data from the existing system to the new ERP system.
Assist in data validation, reconciliation, system testing, and documentation.
Liaise with internal departments and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Students pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline are welcome to apply.
Mid-career individuals and mature workers are encouraged to apply.
Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Meticulous, organised, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
