Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Monitor production output, efficiency, and quality to achieve operational targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate production supervisors and factory workers.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Sales departments to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate material planning to avoid production delays.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare production reports, manpower planning, KPI reports, and operational performance analysis for Management.
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Participate in budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and manpower planning.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant production or manufacturing management experience, preferably in a factory environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good knowledge of production planning, quality management, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and good manufacturing practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems will be an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
