Job Summary

Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) responsible for performing structural design and analysis for Good Class Bungalows, ensuring efficient, economical solutions while collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver quality engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows to meet project requirements.
• Analyze structural components using engineering software to ensure safety and compliance.
• Apply BS/EU codes of practice in structural design for bungalow projects.
• Develop efficient and economical structural concept designs to optimize resources.
• Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings to align project objectives.
• Report project progress and technical findings to Project Director and management.

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant working experience in civil/structural engineering design
• Familiarity with local design standards and codes to ensure regulatory compliance
• Proficient in structural design software such as Tekla Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, Midas, and GStarCAD

• Exhibit a positive work attitude, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
