• Working Hours: 9.00AM to 6.00PM
• Salary: Basic up to $4,500 + Performance Bonus

• Our client is an established interior fit-out and carpentry solutions provider in Singapore. They are currently looking for an Interior CAD Designer / Drafter to support detailed drawing preparation, shop drawings, submission drawings and as-built documentation for interior projects.
• This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy technical interior detailing, carpentry drawings and project coordination. You will work closely with project teams and design consultants, gaining exposure to interior fit-out, construction detailing and site measurement work.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare interior fit-out CAD / Revit drawings.
• Review drawings and illustrations provided by architects and design consultants.
• Work closely with Project Managers to prepare shop drawing lists and schedules.
• Generate interior architectural and/or structural drawings for submission.
• Prepare shop drawing packages for client approval and construction.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Update, check and maintain drawings to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Maintain proper records of drawings and related documents for easy retrieval.
• Apply carpentry and construction detailing knowledge in drawing preparation.
• Attend site surveys and take measurements to verify project details when required.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior design, commercial fit-out, exhibition, product industrial design or related fields.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in 3D Studio Max, V-Ray Renderer, SketchUp Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of carpentry, construction details and interior fit-out drawings.
• Able to work independently and deliver drawings within given timelines.
• Detail-oriented with good coordination and documentation skills.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients who can only communicate in Mandarin.
