Responsibilities:
Supervise structural works and promptly identify, highlight, and address any non-conformities in the contractor’s work.
Review and interpret project specifications and construction drawings to ensure that all site activities comply with regulatory, contractual, and client requirements.
Monitor site works to ensure adherence to approved method statements and work procedures.
Review construction drawings for discrepancies and raise design issues to the Consultants, recommending practical and timely solutions to prevent delays.
Conduct quality inspections and enforce quality control measures on materials and workmanship.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including site inspection records, safety logs, and approved/as-built drawings.
Track and report site progress, including housekeeping standards and overall site conditions.
Verify contractors’ progress claims, including completed works and materials/equipment delivered or stored on site.
Witness and evaluate all inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design intent and project specifications.
Provide regular updates to the Project QP / Consultant Team on quality matters, site issues, and overall project progress.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Civil Engineering/diploma in civil engineering or a related discipline.
Prior experience in Factory Building, Commercial, LTA and CAG projects will be an advantage.
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in supervising residential or building projects.
Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with IES or ACES.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Good understanding of statutory codes, regulations, and requirements applicable to construction projects in Singapore.
