Winsaw Engineering Supplies Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a motivated Electrical / Machinery Technician to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and upgrading industrial metal cutting machinery at our workshop and customer sites.

This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys hands-on work and solving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert conventional relay/contactors-controlled bandsaw machines to PLC-based control systems.
• Rewire and modify electrical control panels for PLC implementation.
• Read, understand, and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and PLC I/O layouts.
• Install, test, commission, and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults.
• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial bandsaw machines.
• Recondition and refurbish used machinery in the workshop.
• Attend customer sites for machine installation, preventive maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and breakdown repairs.
• Identify and resolve technical problems independently.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within the required timeline.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the workshop and at customer sites.

Job Requirements/Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing industrial machinery, especially industrial bandsaw machines.
• Experience converting relay/contactors-controlled machinery to PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with industrial electrical wiring and electrical control panels.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

• Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Physically fit and able to work in hot environments and lift heavy machine parts when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a valid Malaysian Class D Driving Licence and a valid GDL Licence (Mandatory).
• Willing to travel for onsite servicing, installations, and repairs.

Travel Requirement

Approximately 30%–50% of the role involves travelling. Most assignments are within Selangor and the Klang Valley, with occasional out-of-state travel for machine installations, servicing, emergency breakdown support, and customer visits.

Experience

• Experienced candidates are preferred.
• Candidates without direct industry experience are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate strong practical skills in electrical wiring, PLC systems, relay logic, and troubleshooting during the interview and practical assessment.

Salary & Probation

Salary is based on experience, technical knowledge, practical skills, and overall competency.

Successful candidates will undergo a 1–2 month probation period, during which they will work alongside our senior technician. Practical skills, technical knowledge, workmanship, troubleshooting ability, safety practices, and overall job performance will be evaluated during this period.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
