Key Responsibilities:

1）Responsible in handling and undertake all customs declaration procedures for import and export shipments.
2）Ensure tariff codes are declared correctly and clearance is done in a timely manner.
3）Liaison and coordinate with Customer Service/Sales Department for any duties and exemption requirement.
4）Handle FOSIM and other OGA (Other Government Agencies) clearance processes through the designated platforms
5）Assist customers in checking HS code classifications using the tariff finder system upon request.
6）Provide advice and recommendation on correct and most preferred course of action to overcome problems that may arise in declaration operations.
7）Maintain updated with all Customs new regulations as well as reporting to the superior on any changes in the regulations or procedures.
8）Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in import/export documentation, including K1, K2, K3, K4,K8, K9, ZB1, ZB2, ZB3 applications to Customs.
9）Well versed in handling Customs clearance operation & Permit application and necessary Certificates.
10）Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to generate and analyse SMK reports.
11）Perform any other job as assigned by Superior from time to time & ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• MUST have working experience in freight forwarding or shipping.
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written.
• Proper phone etiquette with excellent interpersonal and good listening skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
