About the role

The incumbent supports manufacturing operations by performing timely preventive and corrective maintenance as well as documentations of the process equipment/instruments/machinery, etc. This role requires a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: -

The Incumbent will be responsible to perform hands on maintenance/troubleshooting /repair of the Facility Equipment, Building Maintenance and Inspection.

Perform inspection for equipment and building facility according to the Yearly PM checklist & smoothen the process without affecting the key stakeholder performance.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements (DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, and local authorities)
  • Oversee fire protection systems, including inspection, testing, audits, and certification
  • Implement and support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to maintain a safe workplace
  • Supervise electrical systems to ensure safety compliance, reliability, and energy efficiency
  • Assist implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs for facility and equipment
  • Perform and oversee breakdown maintenance with timely troubleshooting and resolution
  • Manage mechanical and electrical systems, including process equipment, piping systems, utilities, and gas distribution
  • Maintain and support equipment such as compressors, and lifts
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, including spare parts, consumables, and service contracts
  • Lead contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
  • Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and authorities for project and maintenance activities
  • Execute facility upgrades, expansion works, and in-house mini projects
  • Participate in design, installation, and improvement of systems, equipment, and processes
  • Support qualification and validation activities for manufacturing and utility equipment
  • Monitor energy usage and implement sustainability initiatives
  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and compliance records
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational requirements

About you

  • Diploma or SKM In Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience in process equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Possess strong electrical troubleshooting skills for equipment. A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field will be considered.
  • Hands on experience on process equipment maintenance and trouble shooting
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including but not limited to a cleanroom environment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Able to work on shift across weekends and public holidays.
  • Willing to work at Shah alam, Selangor.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
