• Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Jr or Mid level)
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
• Manage project budgets and monitor costs to ensure financial control throughout project execution.
• Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve competitive pricing and favourable contract terms.
• Review contracts, manage variations and claims, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts for client certification and payment.
• Provide cost advice and identify cost-saving opportunities for project teams.
• Supervise and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and support staff.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders on project cost matters.
• Maintain accurate project documentation in accordance with company procedures and professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong experience in cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and financial management for construction projects.
• Good knowledge of contract administration, including PAM and other standard forms of contract.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the Malaysian construction industry is highly preferred.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
