Job Responsibilities

• Source and manage quotations for new and existing materials, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers’ scale, technical specifications, capabilities, and capacity to meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Make sourcing decisions based on total cost of ownership, including price, duties, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality, and contractual terms.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing and commercial terms such as payment terms, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), liability clauses, and other non-standard agreements.
• Collaborate with customers on quarterly pricing reviews and manage price variance analysis to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Analyze and forecast component purchase prices to support accurate inventory valuation in line with financial reporting (Standard Costing process).
• Work closely with Material Planners to monitor supplier performance, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Management, Mathematics, Commerce, or related field.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in cost analysis, pricing management, or supply planning is an advantage.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willing to be based in Batu Kawan, Bandar Cassia.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
