We are looking for an ad-hoc, freelance Mechanical Engineer to support design, analysis, and prototyping work on a per-project basis. You will help turn concepts into manufacturable designs and solve practical engineering problems for our projects.

Responsibilities:

- Produce mechanical designs, 3D models, and technical drawings for parts and assemblies.

- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.

- Support prototyping, testing, and design iteration.

- Prepare documentation for manufacturing and liaise with fabricators or suppliers as needed.

- Collaborate remotely and deliver on agreed milestones on an ad-hoc, per-project basis.

Requirements:

- Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.

- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).

- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical design principles.

- Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and meet agreed deadlines.

- Strong communication skills and a portfolio or examples of past work.

This is a flexible, ad-hoc freelance engagement. Workload varies by project, with earnings typically ranging from $200 to $1,000+ SGD per month depending on scope and availability.

Pay: $200.00 - $1,000.00 per month
