Are you a master of execution who can turn big visions into reality? ED Design is seeking a high-caliber Operations Manager to serve as the core "Integrator" of our company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for translating the Founder’s long-term vision into actionable daily operational plans. Your mission is to ensure that all of our premium interior design and renovation projects are delivered flawlessly—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Project Oversight & Risk Management: Supervise the overall progress of all ongoing projects. Proactively identify potential operational risks and intervene promptly to keep projects on track.
Cross-Team Coordination: Seamlessly bridge the workflow and handover between the Creative Design Team and the Project Management/Site Teams to ensure flawless execution.
Process Optimization: Continuously review, streamline, and optimize internal operational workflows, driving company-wide systematization and automation.
Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee and manage relationships, contract terms, and negotiations with suppliers, sub-contractors, and vendors.
Client Escalation Handling: Act as the key point of contact for handling client complaints and managing issue escalations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Operational Reporting: Compile comprehensive operational and performance reports, providing regular strategic updates and insights directly to the Founder.
Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management or operations management within the Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction/Engineering industry in Hong Kong.
Local Expertise: Deep familiarity with Hong Kong building regulations, statutory codes, and the fast-paced dynamics of the local renovation industry.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Project Tools: High proficiency in modern project management tools; strong preference will be given to candidates with advanced Airtable experience.
Attributes: Methodical, highly organized, and possesses the ability to remain calm and structured under high-pressure situations.
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management credentials.
Solid track record of successfully managing and leading a team of 10+ members.
Hands-on experience in utilizing workflow automation tools to eliminate repetitive tasks and drive efficiency.
