Overview

Our client, a leading retail bank in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead business and technology transformation initiatives within the retail banking division. The successful person will be responsible for driving project delivery, managing governance processes, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across business and technology teams.

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.

• Establish project governance frameworks and chair project meetings, steering committees, and working groups.

• Coordinate internal stakeholders, business users, technology teams, and external vendors.

• Track project progress and provide regular reporting to senior management.

• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Ensure project objectives and deliverables are achieved according to agreed timelines.

• Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

• 8+ years of Project Management experience within banking or financial services.

• Strong Retail Banking domain knowledge; experience with products such as Credit Cards, Mortgages, Loans, Deposits, or related banking systems is preferred.

• Proven track record of leading large-scale business and technology transformation projects.

• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.

• Experience chairing governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder meetings.

• Ability to drive project delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in Cantonese and English; conversational Mandarin is preferred.
