Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the execution of corporate finance transactions, including IPO sponsor mandates, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raisings, and other advisory assignments
  • Perform detailed financial, valuation, and transaction analyses, including peer comparisons, precedent transactions, and deal structuring assessments
  • Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company research to support investment theses and transaction rationale
  • Build and maintain financial models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, and support due diligence processes
  • Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation, pitch books, information memoranda, and other client-facing marketing materials
  • Support the deal team with ad hoc analytical and execution-related tasks as required
The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or transaction advisory
  • Properly licensed under the SFC to conduct Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 6 (Advising on Corporate Finance) regulated activities
  • CPA is highly regarded and considered a strong advantage
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and transaction counterparties
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and commercial information
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and transaction-driven pressure, with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation capabilities
