KOS International Limited Hiring! Full Time Cloud Systems Engineer (GCP) - Leading MNC Group, 40K in Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Our client is a MNC group and they are looking for a talented and motivated Cloud System Engineer (GCP) to own and optimise their Google Cloud Platform environment.

• Deploy, scale and maintain containerised applications on Cloud Run and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Administer Cloud SQL and related databases, including backup, high availability and performance tuning.
• Design and manage VPC networking (subnets, firewall rules, connectivity) and specialised deployments (e.g. Netgis).
• Monitor cloud usage and drive cost optimisation through right‑sizing and committed use discounts (FinOps).
• Implement and maintain secure IAM roles and organisation policies following a "least privilege" approach.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and use Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) for consistent, automated environment provisioning.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years' experience in cloud systems administration / infrastructure management, preferably on GCP.
• Google Professional Cloud Administrator or Google Professional Cloud Architect certification (mandatory).
• Practical experience with GCP Compute and Networking (Cloud Run, GKE, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Netgis or similar).
• Proven experience managing Cloud SQL and database lifecycle operations.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Knowledge of FinOps concepts and hands‑on use of GCP billing / cost management tools.
• Bonus: Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g. Python in VS Code, building agents in Google AI Studio / similar).
• Fluent English is a must.
• Fluent Cantonese or fluent Mandarin is acceptable (either one is fine).
