Ascendion Hiring! Full Time Assistant Test Manager — SIT, UAT, Manual Testing in - Ricebowl

Role:

• We are hiring an assistant test manager to support a large-scale enterprise IT project in Singapore.
• This role is suitable for someone who enjoys hands-on testing, structured test planning, defect management and coordinating testing activities across technical teams, business users and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and execute manual, functional, regression, integration, SIT, UAT and end-to-end testing.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test reports and test evidence.
• Track testing progress, highlight risks and follow up on blockers with the relevant teams.
• Log, monitor, retest and close defects by working closely with developers and technical teams.
• Support defect triage discussions by helping assess issue impact, priority and closure status.
• Work with project managers, developers, system engineers and business users during testing and release activities.
• Assist the Test Manager in assigning tasks, guiding testers and monitoring team progress.
• Support deployment checks, production validation and operational readiness activities where required.
• Support basic API testing or automation testing activities where applicable.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of software testing or QA experience.
• Solid hands-on experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, SIT and UAT.
• Experience preparing clear test cases, test scenarios, test scripts and test reports.
• Good understanding of the software testing life cycle.
• Experience managing defects, including logging, tracking, retesting and closure follow-up.
• Ability to communicate clearly with project teams, developers, business users and stakeholders.
• Experience supporting less-experienced testers or coordinating testing activities.
• Exposure to API testing, Postman, REST APIs, Playwright or automation testing is beneficial but not mandatory.
