Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering skills, preferably with experience in precision manufacturing or micro electromechanical products.
Key Responsibilities
Process Development & Improvement
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, yield improvement, and waste elimination.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies.
• Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process transfer activities.
Production Support
• Provide daily engineering support to production lines to ensure smooth operation.
• Investigate process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process abnormalities.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational issues.
Equipment & Tooling Management
• Define equipment specifications and requirements for new projects.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and acceptance.
• Evaluate tooling and fixture performance and implement improvements when necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, including:
o Process Flow Charts
o Work Instructions (WI)
o Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
o PFMEA
o Control Plans
o Engineering Change Notices (ECN/ECR)
• Ensure documentation is updated and controlled according to company procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Monitor and analyze KPIs such as:
o Yield
o Scrap Rate
o OEE
o Cycle Time
o Downtime
o Productivity
• Generate engineering reports and present findings to management.
• Recommend and implement improvement plans based on data analysis.
