Job Description

Responsibilities


We are seeking a Senior Officer, Planning to join our Planning team in Singapore.

This role supports business performance management, strategic business planning, corporate governance, and regional coordination activities across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders across business units and head office to support business planning processes, performance monitoring, board governance requirements, and key corporate initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


Business Performance Management

  • Support the development of regional business units' strategic business plans to ensure continued growth and profitability.
  • Support the formulation and setting of KPIs for business units and DLAP through close coordination with headquarters and various business units.
  • Support the development of performance monitoring rules and tracking of actual results.
  • Deliver high-quality management reports and insightful analysis to various stakeholders.
  • Support reporting frameworks to ensure high-quality management information delivery and efficient work processes in close collaboration with other teams.
  • Support the development and implementation of performance management (KPI) frameworks for regional business units as well as DLAP.


Strategic Business Planning

  • Apply cross-functional understanding of the business to align with the Strategy Group and other related functional groups/departments in the execution of projects in order to support and achieve the KPI goals of the business units.
  • Support the development of business plans for existing markets by consolidating relevant market information and analysing the current situation of business units across the region.


Corporate Governance & Board Management

  • Ensure strict adherence to DLAP board governance requirements imposed by local authorities.
  • Actively develop, maintain, fine-tune and communicate the DLAP authority table.
  • Organise regular board-level meetings, communications and material preparation.
  • Prepare and file regulatory updates for DLAP board members.
  • Coordinate board meeting schedules with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely preparation of board materials.
  • Maintain the DLAP authority table and resolution register.


Corporate Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate the DLAP corporate schedule for key events across headquarters and regional business units.
  • Update and share the DLAP corporate schedule.
  • Maintain the DLAP authority table and resolution register.


Projects & Regional Initiatives

  • Contribute to group initiatives.
  • Organise and support working conferences and internal meetings
  • Support planning-related tasks and ad hoc projects as required.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree and above.
  • Experience in management reporting, including work involving Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the life insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and coordination skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance competing business requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills across diverse groups.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with stakeholders across functions and markets.
  • Good understanding of business strategy and the ability to consider both regional and local impacts in decision-making.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with a proactive mindset and commitment to achieving results
