This position will serve as the primary technical contact for customers in the Asia Pacific region. The role includes installation, troubleshooting, firmware/application loading, software testing, customer support, and coordination with the engineering team.
The candidate should be comfortable working directly with customers, collecting technical information, and supporting system setup and issue resolution in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Support
- Install, configure, and test Digilock systems at customer locations
- Perform server/software installation and basic IT/network setup
- Configure controllers, BLE devices, tablets, and related equipment
- Load firmware/applications to PIC microcontrollers, BLE modules, and related devices
- Verify systems are properly connected and operational
Troubleshooting and Testing
- Troubleshoot lock, controller, BLE, firmware, communication, and basic hardware issues
- Perform basic electrical/electronics troubleshooting using tools such as a multimeter
- Check battery voltage, power connections, and basic PCBA-level issues
- Test software applications and system functionality at customer sites
- Support customer IT/network setup when required
- Collect logs, photos, and technical information for engineering review
- Escalate complex issues with clear documentation
Customer & Team Coordination
- Serve as the first technical contact for customers in South Asia
- Understand customer requests and communicate them clearly to engineering teams
- Prepare customer request summaries, testing results, and troubleshooting reports
- Provide basic technical guidance and operational support
- Coordinate with internal teams to support issue resolution and installations
Required Skills
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese; fluent in additional languages is a plus
- Effective communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Basic understanding of firmware, BLE, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
- Familiar with firmware/application loading tools
- Basic electronics and IT/networking knowledge
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting
- Comfortable working independently and directly with customers
- Willingness to travel within the region when needed
Preferred Experience
- IoT, BLE, RFID, or access control systems
- Technical field support or installation experience
- Basic PCBA troubleshooting or electronics assembly experience
- Experience using Jira or support ticket systems

Pay: $17,337.37 - $30,554.25 per month
