1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and employee documentation.
- Coordinate orientation and induction programmes for new employees.
2. Employee Relations
- Maintain positive employee relations and handle employee enquiries and grievances professionally.
- Assist in disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, counselling sessions, and performance-related issues.
- Support employee engagement and welfare programmes.
3. Payroll & Compensation
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll data, attendance records, overtime, leave, allowances, and deductions.
- Ensure timely statutory submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp.
- Maintain accurate payroll and employee records.
4. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance appraisal activities.
- Monitor employee probation confirmation and contract renewals.
- Support management in implementing performance improvement initiatives.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training requirements and coordinate internal and external training programmes.
- Maintain employee training records and HRD Corp documentation where applicable.
- Monitor employee competency development.
6. HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee personal files and HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, and management reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of all employee information.
7. Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, Occupational Safety and Health requirements, and other applicable labour legislation.
- Assist during audits conducted by government agencies and external auditors.
- Update HR policies and procedures when necessary.
8. Leave & Attendance Management
- Monitor attendance, leave balances, absenteeism, and overtime.
- Administer annual leave, medical leave, maternity leave, and other statutory leave entitlements.
9. Foreign Workers (If Applicable)
- Coordinate work permit renewals, immigration matters, FOMEMA arrangements, and hostel administration.
- Ensure compliance with regulations relating to foreign workers.
10. General Responsibilities
- Support Management in implementing company policies and strategic HR initiatives.
- Assist with administrative duties assigned by Management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time in accordance with business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is an added advantage.
