Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Manager in overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resource functions.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes for both office and project/site employees.
  • Oversee onboarding, employee confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit processes.
  • Administer payroll, attendance, leave, claims, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, labour regulations, and company policies.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, grievances, and counselling.
  • Support performance appraisal, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
  • Coordinate training programmes and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HRIS.
  • Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, and headcount analysis for management.
  • Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and external agencies on HR-related matters.
  • Support HR budgeting, compensation and benefits review, and annual salary increment and bonus exercises.
  • Partner with department heads to ensure adequate manpower planning for ongoing and upcoming development projects.
  • Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in the property development, construction, or real estate industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in payroll processing, HRIS, and HR administration.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, handle confidential matters, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Candidates with experience supporting project/site staff and multiple business units will have an added advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
