Key responsibilities:

• Lead the sourcing process by identifying potential suppliers, obtaining quotations, and evaluating bids based on quality, cost, and delivery terms.
• Prepare, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely issuance.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and payment status to ensure timely procurement and resolve any supply issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, while identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors to support business needs.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms to achieve cost savings and service improvements.
• Prepare documentation and reports required for internal audits, compliance checks, and management reviews.
• Conduct and verify periodic inventory audits, resolve variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure procurement records and databases are accurately maintained and updated in a timely manner.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and provide updates on order progress and supplier performance.
• Participate in team discussions to identify opportunities for procurement process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Mentor and support junior team members to ensure smooth workflow and continuous development.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Experience in negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Able to manage multiple procurement activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance with procurement policies.
