Job Title: Test Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,500 Location: Batu Kawan, Penang

About the role We're hiring a Test Technician to run and troubleshoot test processes on semiconductor equipment, helping identify and resolve issues to keep production on track.

Responsibilities

• Perform test tasks and troubleshoot/debug units on the assigned test platform
• Perform correct test cycle sequence per Work Instructions
• Carry out daily cleaning of test fixtures per Work Instruction
• Perform 5S at test workbenches before each shift
• Keep test tools and equipment organized to standard
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Schedule, complete, and document routine maintenance on test equipment
• Read schematics, drawings, and data sheets to perform tests and troubleshoot equipment
• Assist in failure analysis and rework/repair of non-conforming products, and help determine root cause
• Generate detailed Failure Analysis Reports as required

Requirements

• Technician Diploma
• 5 years' experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, especially RF Matching Networks and Generators
• Proficient in LabVIEW, C++, and Excel automation/macros
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (English and Bahasa Malaysia)
• Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
