What you'll be doing

1. Design, develop, and maintain various modules of the company's platform systems.
2. Maintain and participate in the release and operation of microservices, including system deployment, end-to-end stress testing, performance monitoring, traffic control, and distributed tracing.
3. Lead and participate in the architecture design and technical solution evaluation of key projects, conducting technical reviews, feasibility assessments, and risk analysis.
4. Develop a deep understanding of business requirements and drive technical initiatives that support business objectives, resolve operational challenges, and improve development efficiency and delivery speed.
5. Plan and implement architectural upgrades, stability improvements, and performance optimization for core business services and critical systems.
6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across different business units, promoting technical knowledge sharing, cross-department collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers to strengthen the overall engineering capability.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 6 years of Java development experience, with hands-on experience in Internet-based projects. Able to independently develop new projects as well as enhance and maintain existing systems.
3. Strong expertise in Java multithreading and thread pool management, with solid knowledge of distributed systems, caching technologies, message queues (MQ), and search technologies.
4. Familiar with distributed backend service development processes and best practices. Proficient in development frameworks such as Spring, MyBatis, Spring Boot, and Dubbo.
5. Proficient in Redis, Elasticsearch, and other NoSQL technologies. Strong experience in MySQL database design, development, performance optimization, and tuning.
6. Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a continuous learning mindset. Candidates who demonstrate initiative and a passion for continuous improvement will have an advantage.
7. Experience in trading systems, payment systems, or fintech-related backend development is highly preferred.
8. Experience in business application testing or development testing is an added advantage.
9. Fluent in both English and Mandarin to handle stakeholders from different region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Payments, FinTech, Cross-border businesses, Banking etc.
• Familiarity with multi-country or regional channel operations and partnership ecosystems.
