Our client is a well-established enterprise and full-lifecycle data center infrastructure service provider with deep expertise in digital critical facility design, EPC construction, intelligent power equipment R&D, and IDC operation services. It holds extensive proprietary technical patents and maintains long-term strategic partnerships with global top-tier tech, energy and telecom corporations, with mature cross-border project delivery capabilities across APAC markets.

Now accelerating local business expansion in Malaysia, the firm seeks a capable Finance &Accounting Executive to independently oversee end-to-end local finance operation, statutory compliance, and treasury coordination, and serve as core finance liaison for local teams, external regulators and the headquarter.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day full-set accounting processes, including general ledger booking, expense claim review, payment scheduling and cash disbursement management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, conduct month-end closing, and compile supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Complete all statutory tax filings in compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, liaise proactively with external auditors, tax consultants and banking institutions for all financial inquiries.
  • Participate in annual budget drafting, cash flow planning, financial risk monitoring and internal financial control implementation.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and cross-group coordination tasks assigned by management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Diploma qualification in Finance, Accounting or related accounting disciplines.
  • Sound working knowledge of Malaysian MFRS, SST, corporate tax and local statutory financial compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience handling independent full-set local accounts is a strong preference.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin to align with headquarters and local external parties.
  • Meticulous, accountable, able to manage multi-task deadlines and handle confidential financial data with integrity.
  • Familiarity with mainstream Malaysian accounting software and Microsoft Excel advanced functions.
